Over the last year, Jobs With Justice, alongside our partner organizations, established Always Essential. Since then, we've established worker-led committees to set health and safety standards for essential workers, stood with striking workers, as they fight to win a fairer return on their work, advocated for landmark ideas like a federal essential workers bill of rights, and more. Our strategic guidance and leadership in this campaign led to these victories and paved the way for the victories to come. 

But additional victories may not be possible without your help.

This Labor Day, join Jobs With Justice and support our strategic campaigns in support of essential workers—and working people—throughout the country.

Please allow us a moment to introduce you to Jordan, a grocery worker from Maryland. Jordan’s been working throughout the pandemic, ensuring those in his community can purchase groceries, even during the pandemic’s worst days. While he’s experienced some increased safety precautions on the job, Jordan’s wages have remained flat. We hope that our work through Always Essential continues the fight so Jordan—and all the working people just like him—end up in positions where they can bargain over crucial issues like wages, sick leave, and health and safety protocols.
