Dem AGs have been hard at work protecting American workers
Friend,
As we enjoy the final days of summer (hopefully safely alongside friends and family this Labor Day Weekend), it’s important to recognize the overwhelming contributions of unions and workers to our country.
Without unions, we wouldn’t have weekends or an established 40-hour work week! And it’s our workforce – especially our frontline, essential workers – who have kept our country moving forward through these trying times. That is why Democratic AGs are committed to protecting workers and fighting alongside our union partners for safe work environments, fair pay, access to health care, and so much more.
In Wisconsin, AG Josh Kaul scored a huge victory for workers by securing a settlement for wrongfully terminated workers. In Vermont, AG TJ Donovan is fighting for workers who weren’t paid for their PTO. Across the country, you’ll find Democratic AGs fighting for workers and pushing back against extremist, Pro-Trump Republican AGs. Dem AGs rely on a network of grassroots donors like you to stay in the fight, and we appreciate all your support.
But it’s important not only to recognize the progress we have made, but to reflect on what it is we are still fighting for. There is still so much work to be done to create a more fair and just nation, and Dem AGs are on the front lines of that push, advocating for all vulnerable workers.
Democratic AGs truly are “The People’s Lawyers” and DAGA is the only party committee devoted to electing more of them. Since 2016, we’ve won two-thirds of our targeted races, and with more than 30 AG seats up for grabs in the next two years, we need your support – will you chip in today?
