Fair wages, safe working conditions, paid leave and the weekend as we know it: just a few of the workplace gains we credit to the labor movement. This weekend, we honor the hard work and sacrifices made by those before us who were unwilling to settle for less.

From the beginning, this campaign has been about uplifting Ohio’s families and creating an economy that works for them .

Workers are the backbone of our economy. This Labor Day, we hope you’re able to appreciate how much the labor movement has given us and remember that our work is far from over.
