Since the beginning of the COVID–19 pandemic, we have seen workers become heroes. From nurses who risk their lives caring for our most vulnerable…

…to Georgia’s thousands of family farmers who make American agriculture the greatest in the world…

…to mail carriers who work in all weather to bring rural communities their letters, ballots, and medications…

…to working parents who juggle full-time jobs with their children’s distance learning…

I extend my deepest gratitude and recognition to every member of the workforce who keeps our community going.

On this Labor Day, I reaffirm my advocacy for workers in the U.S. House of Representatives. I am proud to be endorsed by the American Federation of Government Employees and honored by the American Farm Bureau, and I take these responsibilities seriously. I will always fight for you.

To workers: you are all essential. Thank you for the work you do. Please enjoy your day of rest.
