This email is a bit special. Representative Shusterman, turns fifty-four in three days on September eight and our goal is to raise her $5,400 as a surprise birthday gift to ensure that she can continue representing us. 

For the past three years, Rep. Shusterman has been overjoyed to work as a civil servant. She's always loved her community and family, and as many women were, she was empowered by the late Ruth Bader Ginsberg, Stacy Abrams, & Hillary. Women leaders motivated Melissa to run for office in 2018. Since her election, Melissa has kept that same energy of empowerment. She continues to motivate and support her staff, her community, and other fellow democratic women to across Pennsylvania. In 2020, Melissa supported thirteen candidates across Pennsylvania many of which were women. But, even more important than her kindness and love for her work is her humble nature. Melissa doesn't even know about this email. 

Now we haven't told Melissa yet, but we'd love to surprise her on her birthday with your overwhelming support.
