John, I know it’s a holiday weekend, but I’m starting to get worried.

I just ran the numbers, and this is shaping up to be our worst fundraising weekend since Terry officially became the Democratic nominee.

It’s really bad timing because we are less than two weeks away from the start of early voting. AND, a recent poll from a top-rated FiveThirtyEight pollster shows Glenn Youngkin and Terry locked in a 46-46 tie.

I’m not asking for a ton of money, John — just $15 or $20 from a few of our top supporters would go a long way to get us moving again. Can you help out?

We had a great fundraising month in August, John, so we built out our budget based on the assumption that our momentum would hold.

That’s why a lull in fundraising like this could tank it all — we’ve got detailed plans and we have to have the resources to execute them.
