It's official, John:
Women's March, alongside over 90 partner organizations, is marching to defend our abortion rights and reproductive freedom on October 2.
Our plan is in motion to march and mobilize in every single state across the country — which is vitally important work, but expensive to organize at this massive scale. It's why we're turning to you:
When the Supreme Court rejected an emergency request to block Texas's abortion ban, they effectively took the next step towards overturning Roe v. Wade. Simply put: We are witnessing the most dire threat to abortion access in our lifetime.
That's why we’re marching in every single state on October 2 before the Supreme Court reconvenes. We need to send an unmistakable message about our fierce opposition to restricting abortion access and overturning Roe v. Wade before it's too late.
We're expecting so many women and feminists to turn out to march, and we also need to make sure we have enough supplies to keep our marchers and communities safe.
We'll be in touch this week with even more details about our plans to march nationwide on October 2. Thank you for taking action.
