One of the most fulfilling parts of my job at Hillsdale College is seeing Americans nationwide engaging with the profound truths of our nation’s founding documents, including the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.

We care deeply about educating all Americans about our founding principles. That’s why we spent months working on our free online course, “Introduction to the Constitution.”

This course considers the principles of the American Founding—which are described most famously and concisely in the Declaration of Independence—as well as key features of American government based on those principles.

The course was one of the first we recorded in a groundbreaking new style that allows you to watch the lively class discussions, led by Hillsdale College President Larry P. Arnn, that are so characteristic of Hillsdale.
