With the GOP leading an all-out assault on our right to vote, we need strong, moral leaders in Congress to defend our democracy. We need unwavering champions for voting rights like my friend, Senator Raphael Warnock.

Right now, Raphael is working in the Senate to pass federal voting rights legislation that will make sure every eligible American can fully participate in our democracy. But there's a challenge standing in our way: The Senate is split 50-50, meaning Republicans need to flip just one seat to retake control – and they're coming after Raphael as their TOP target to defeat.

We can't let that happen – or else our efforts to protect and expand voting rights could be lost. That's why I'm writing to you today. I am proud to stand with Raphael and support his people-powered campaign – and right now, he needs your help. So please, I'm personally asking: Will you give $5 or more now, before midnight tonight, so we can defend Raphael's seat in Georgia, keep our Senate majority and protect voting rights for all?

I'll be blunt: The threat to our democracy is real. We saw it in the deadly insurrection at the Capitol in January, and we're seeing it in the hundreds of voter suppression bills moving through state legislatures across the country. 

Defending our Democratic Senate majority is the best chance we have to preserve our democracy – and to do that, we must reelect Raphael and keep Georgia blue. As a man of strong conviction and deep character, Raphael is precisely the type of voice we desperately need in Washington. From the streets to the sanctuary, he's been at the forefront of this critical fight for justice for years – but he needs your grassroots support to keep it going.

The GOP is launching misleading attack ads and enlisting the support of wealthy donors and dark-money groups to try and buy Raphael's seat – so we're counting on folks like you to help us fight back. Raphael and I aren't giving up on our democracy, friend. I hope you won't give up either.
