Team, A heartfelt thank you. My campaign team let me know today that we met our fundraising goal for August. The past few weeks have shown us now more than ever the many crises the American people are facing right now. From abortion bans and voting rights retrictions to irreversible climate change and rising Covid-19 infections, we need action from Congress, not gridlock. That’s exactly what Democrats have been doing since we took control last year. We’ve passed Covid-19 stimulus, expanded the Child Tax Credit, and are working to pass a desperately needed infrastructure package that would transform our economy. This progress could vanish if Republicans like Kevin McCarthy take control next year, but your help in reaching our fundraising goal is crucial to making sure that doesn’t happen.
