"It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure."

- 2 Samuel 22:33
Africa & Europe
Pray as the trial continues this month for the killing of IJM staff member Willie, his client Josephat and their trusted driver Joseph—that it will move forward on the scheduled court dates. Pray especially for peace for their families. Four police officers and one civilian are accused and remain in custody.
Latin America
Pray for a complicated case of sexual violence in Bolivia where our team is partnering with a legal clinic of a university to bring justice to several survivors. After a former student filed an anonymous complaint, the Public Ministry started an investigation against a suspect accused of organizing private parties to drug and sexually abuse female students. According to social media, there are over 150 victims, but so far only one has officially made a complaint. Please pray for the other victims, that they will find the courage to file formal complaints and that their testimonies will strengthen the investigation and help protect female students in the future.
South Asia
Praise God for a rescue operation last week that freed a 48-year-old man from an abusive farm. Seven months ago, he took a job at this farm to support his wife and daughters after they lost their income due to COVID. The farm owner became increasingly abusive toward the man and his family, and even threatened to kill them by burning down their home. Praise God that local authorities responded quickly to the family’s cries for help and for IJM’s partner who supported the case. The man and his family are now safe, and police will soon charge the farm owner. Pray for this case to keep progressing smoothly so the community will see that justice is possible!
Southeast Asia
Praise God for successful partnership opportunities for our Forced Labor Slavery Hub. Recently, our leaders had the opportunity to meet with Walmart to discuss ways we can work together to better protect those trapped in forced labor slavery in the Asia Pacific region. Pray for positive follow-up and a fruitful outcome from this meeting. Also pray for other partnership opportunities, specifically for our Indonesia Assessment team as they are identifying and engaging with those who could become partners.
IJM Global Office & Partners
IJM global office is located in the United States. IJM has Partner Offices in Australia, Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, South Korea, Switzerland, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

Please join us in praying for some key US congressional staff members who are working to push the Central American Woman and Children Protection Act through. Pray for favor and victory as this Act would greatly impact the lives of many and aid in fulfilling IJM's mission.

The updates we share on survivors or their cases can become sensitive over time. To respect and protect
them, please refrain from posting these prayer requests online.
