John,
It's T-minus 1 Day until our Name and SHAME campaign <[link removed]> goes live. The support we've received has been big. That means the campaign is going to be big.
I'm not surprised. It's not every day that $4 billion is ripped out of education. It's not every day that the Liberals, Labor and the Nationals team up to vote against $1 billion for rural and regional TAFEs. You're angry, I'm angry. It's time we made the rest of the nation angry.
This is where the funding for the campaign stands as I write this email to you.

It's not too late. Do you want to see your local politicians cop it harder?
Just $6 goes a long way on Facebook, <[link removed]> as we target each person who voted against my amendment that would have provided $1 billion for rural and regional TAFEs.
Politicians need to know that when you cut a deal in the Senate, voters are going to notice. You can’t outrun your record. I’m going to make them own their mistakes. Because the next time they get a chance to sell out, they’ll be damn sure that we’re watching – and we don’t let it go easy.
Can't spare any money? Please don't even think about donating. The most important thing is that you look after yourself.
What you could do instead, is share my speech. It's loud, it's proud and it makes it pretty bloody clear exactly who ripped up the $4 billion Education Infrastructure Fund.

This is just the beginning of our TAFE campaign. We’re coming back hard. They’re going to know what hit them. Because TAFE’s worth it. We need real investment into the facilities. Proper opportunities being given to our kids who want to learn a trade. And an actual plan for how we move TAFE into the 21st century. Near enough is not good enough. I'm going to take every opportunity I can to bang the drum. I hope you'll bang it with me.
Thank you,
Jacqui
P.S. Here’s a good outline <[link removed]> of what happened last Thursday if you missed it.
