Let us break it down for you, John. The stakes of passing federal voting rights legislation are HIGH.

That's because if the Senate doesn't get a bill done this year, the window could close, and we may be stuck with gerrymandered maps AND onerous voting restrictions for the 2022 election.

Here's what A.G. Holder told The New York Times might happen if Congress does not pass federal voting rights legislation:

"If not, he suggested Republicans might be correct when they spoke of locking in 'a decade of power.'
'That’s what’s at stake,' he said."

Will you help us fight, John? >>> [link removed]

At the NDRC, we’re executing a multi-faceted effort to achieve fairness in our elections, including working in states across the country to combat Republican gerrymandering, speaking out against voter suppression, and supporting federal democracy reform legislation like the For the People Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act.

But all those pieces take resources to fund, which means we're relying on this grassroots community for help.

A.G. Holder told you what's at stake. We're running out of time -- will you chip in right now to help us achieve fair maps and fair elections?
