Hey It’s me, Daniela — A-Team Organizing Director.
I’m proud to share that our organizing program is back in full swing! We’ve launched with smaller, Covid-conscious events to re-connect our communities.
Last month, we held space for youth leaders to directly share their thoughts with Ayanna about their visions for the district, issues facing their communities, and leadership from their elected officials.
The event was organized by youth leaders from the Massachusetts 7th and hosted at the home of A-Team volunteers. We had close to 30 young people come together to share their concerns and grow in community with one another. Ayanna took on the role of active listener, and answered questions about specific policies and areas where she’s leading in Congress.
This is just one of the many opportunities we’re creating to grow our movement in the 7th District and across the Commonwealth. Evenings like these expand our reach, help inform Ayanna’s work, and strengthen connections to one another.
Next up, we have big plans to continue lifting up Ayanna’s work on the ground and keep building the momentum for justice and equity-focused policies that center our communities.
This community-focused work is at the core of our movement, and lays the foundation for the work Ayanna seeks to accomplish in Congress. We couldn’t do it without you.
