Governor Laura Kelly is calling on the federal government to pass legislation providing affordable healthcare to over 165,000 Kansans.

Thanks to Republicans, Kansas is one of the only 12 states that has failed to expand Medicaid.

Expanding Medicaid would:

• Add nearly 23,000 new jobs in our state
• Create $17 billion in economic output through 2025
• Raise personal income by $6.3 billion
• Save private-sector employers up to $80.6 million  

 

 

There is overwhelming public support for expanding Medicaid, but Republicans are acting only in the interest of the corrupt GOP agenda. We need help from supporters like you in order to continue our fight to elect Democrats who will expand Medicaid and to vote out self-serving Republicans.
