We’re choosing to move forward, and that’s why I’m reaching out to you today.
Since 2015, our Liberal government has delivered real change for Canadians.
We’ve made strong investments that support the middle class and people working hard to join it, including the Canada Child Benefit, which is providing more money to 9 out of 10 families and has lifted hundreds of thousands of kids out of poverty. We’re taking real action to fight climate change, including putting a price on pollution, working to achieve net-zero emissions by 2030, and putting a ban on single-use plastics. And we’ve worked to keep Canadians safe and supported throughout the pandemic by creating CERB and the wage subsidy to support Canadians through this
crisis.
A re-elected Liberal government will continue this important work, as we finish the fight against COVID-19 and build a better future.
We’ll continue to make life more affordable for families by investing in early learning and child care, bringing the dream of home ownership back within reach, and building more homes for Canadians from coast, to coast, to coast. We’ll keep Canadians safe and healthy by introducing paid sick leave and making sure that all Canadians have access to a family doctor or primary health team. And, we’ll provide better care for seniors by training and raising wages for personal support workers, and making long-term care homes healthier, safer, and more accessible.
