It's official, team -- the United States Postal Service is deliberately slowing down mail delivery times in October. And The Washington Post reported that Washington will be one of the most heavily impacted states in the country.

This isn't the first time Postmaster General Louis DeJoy's actions have jeopardized the USPS -- and it's not the first time Derek is taking action to respond. Just last year, Derek co-sponsored the Delivering for America Act to STOP DeJoy from implementing these changes. At that time, efforts to sabotage the Postal Service jeopardized the ability to vote by mail.

Countless Americans rely on the USPS to deliver life-saving medication, emergency supplies, Social Security checks, mail-in ballots, and more through rain, shine, and even global pandemics. Derek understands how essential the USPS is to our way of life.
