On October 16, the Bush Center will continue its yearlong focus on the importance of immigration policy at this Engage at the Bush Center, presented by Highland Capital Management event.
Laura Collins , Director at the Bush Institute-SMU Economic Growth Initiative, will moderate a panel featuring economist Douglas Holtz-Eakin , Lori Lee, CEO of AT&T Latin America, and Alfredo Duarte , President and CEO of Taxco Produce, Inc. The panel will discuss how immigrants bring with them the skills America needs to compete in the global economy, filling critical gaps in America’s labor force.
