Hi John,

The California Special Election is fast approaching on 9/14! Let’s carve out some time this long weekend to vote and/or help others do the same.

Affordable housing remains a critical issue for our state, as our neighbors and communities continue to grapple with housing affordability and homelessness. What’s more, the severity of these issues continue to be accentuated as we emerge and recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The last thing California needs is a change in leadership during such a fragile time.

This is why the affordable housing community is asking you to vote NO on the recall of Governor Gavin Newsom.

Governor Newsom has been a strong, pro-housing champion, working to prioritize and solve the housing crisis in California by providing unprecedented levels of state funding and policy changes to ensure every California family and resident has a safe and stable place to call home.

Learn about the progress made under Governor Newsom’s leadership in our community anti-recall statement, signed by affordable housing advocates from across the state.
