Three months ago, Ground Game Texas began the collective mission to completely transform Texas from the ground up.

Through local, on-the-ground initiatives to bring ballot education, boost voter turnout, and put popular issues on city ballots all across Texas — we’re continually building up our progressive momentum to create a stronger, more inclusive community for all of us.

One of the biggest efforts our teams have launched is collecting as many signatures as possible in support of local ballot initiatives that people truly care about. Together, we’ve collected more than 30,000 signatures from Austin voters in support of our first local ballot measure “Workers, Wages, and Weed”.

The work to completely transform the Texas electorate must be a year-round effort, friend. We need to prioritize local campaigns, winning issues, and in-person organizing — and ensure this work continues well before and long after the presidential election.

Our teams have been bringing new voters of all ages, races, and backgrounds into our political movement through new and innovative ways. From coming together at marches and rallies, to hosting the first of many community concerts, we’re working to engage as much of our community as possible.
