I will never forget the series of events that took place.

Eric Garner was put in an illegal choke hold for 7 seconds.

His last words were “I can’t breathe,” repeated 11 times over.

A law enforcement officer murdered him in broad daylight.

And now that officer will not be held accountable for it.

Hear me loud and clear: This is a miscarriage of justice.

I will not stay silent while black and brown folks are murdered by our country’s broken policing system. This is a national crisis, and it must be treated like one. In this critical moment, I’m counting on you to have my back on this. >>

To say I’m disappointed is a severe understatement. I’m outraged.

I refuse to accept a world in which police can arrest a white man like Dylann Roof who murdered nine people worshipping — without hurting him — but
