Nearly 8 months after the January 6 insurrection, we still don’t have clear answers about how this deadly attack happened -- or who was behind it.

Thankfully, the House’s January 6 Commission is hard at work. In their first hearing, they heard new, heart-breaking testimonies from Capitol police officers that revealed the full extent of the toll of this attack.

There’s so much more to learn, but national Republicans are spreading lies about the Commission and undermining its work. Will you sign on to show your support for the January 6 Commission and demand the answers we deserve?

The truth about January 6th is personal to us in Western NC -- because our Republican Congressman Madison Cawthorn helped incite the insurrection.

It’s no surprise that Cawthorn voted against the commision. He gave a speech the morning of the attack and riled up the crowd.

In the months since, he’s only gotten closer to Trump and has continued to spread the dangerous conspiracy theories that led to the violence.

In fact, Cawthorn was recently caught on camera calling the domestic terrorists who attacked the Capitol “political hostages” and said he was “actively working on” a second event.

It’s more important than ever that we get to the bottom of what happened so we can prevent attacks like this from happening again -- at this critical moment for our democracy, will you sign on to show you support the January 6 Commission?
