Team,

I get this question a lot about our work to end map manipulation: How can we expect to fix a system when the very system we're trying to fix has been rigged against us from the start? The answer is tough to hear, but easy to understand: overwhelming work. Relentless practice, training, and planning to implement a winning strategy.

That's what our State Plan Sponsor Fund boils down to. Our state directors have prepared strategies for 10 target states that detail who we need to reach and recruit to join our team, how we can reach them, and how much it will cost to work our plans to get to fair maps. We will need grassroots donors and activists to meet the challenge of supporting the roadmaps they've outlined.

The team told me they thought we could get 1,000 State Plan Sponsors before we finalize the plans tomorrow and we're still 265 Sponsors short. Can you donate to close the gap?

We've got the team. We've got the plan. We've got each other. Now we just need to put in the work.

Thanks for reading,

Saumya
