Thank you so much for your support this past month. I know you receive lots of emails from our team, so I want to reiterate how crucial every single one of your contributions is to the success of this grassroots campaign. Because of you, we can continue to expand, combat Republican attacks and fight to keep TX-32 blue. Your support is noticed and deeply appreciated.

I was planning to end this email with a thank you, but I have to address the dark cloud over Texas right now: The Supreme Court has allowed SB8, the most restrictive abortion ban in the country and the first of its kind to be implemented since Roe v. Wade, to go into effect. As a Texan, I am disgusted. As an American, I am furious.

This radical bill, which was pushed through by the Texas GOP, empowered by gerrymandered districts, and upheld by a radical court, once again reminds us that elections matter. Please know that I am committed to protecting reproductive rights and access to women’s health care and will continue to do all I can to defend against attacks like SB8.
