Last week, members of the House of Representatives narrowly approved a budget reconciliation package that will tackle climate change in a big way! With a vote of 220-212, the House has officially set the stage for a final vote that will determine our climate future.

If approved, this trillion dollar spending agreement will make significant investments that will cut pollution, create jobs, address environmental injustice and deliver on President Biden’s climate goals. But this can’t happen without your Representative’s continued support!

Your Representative voted to advance the most ambitious climate bill in a generation. Thank them for their leadership and encourage them to uphold their commitment to climate, clean energy, justice and jobs!

Our leaders in the House of Representatives are poised to support bold investments that will tackle America’s largest sources of pollution — the energy and transportation sectors. By passing the Budget Reconciliation Package the U.S. can take immediate steps to slash pollution today, while ensuring a safe and healthy future for tomorrow. 

Here are just a few of the transformative investments we will see if this bill is passed:
 

• Nationwide electric vehicle charging infrastructure; 
   
• New incentives to advance our transition to clean energy;
   
• New fleets of electric trucks, buses, and cars; and  
   
• A stronger manufacturing sector ready to build the clean energy products and technologies of the future.

The House took a big step forward, but will they take the next? Take action and encourage your member of Congress to continue the fight for a cleaner, safer future.
