We The Action

** We The Action Volunteer,
------------------------------------------------------------

We normally wouldn't email you on the Friday before a holiday weekend, but this is urgent: We have a time sensitive project to help Afghan refugees, and we need every available lawyer.

You can find more information about this opportunity - which is open to lawyers nationwide - below. Please help us spread the word by forwarding this email to any lawyer who may be able to help. Thank you in advance for any time you can donate to helping Afghan refugees.

URGENT: Help Afghan Refugees Apply for Visas & Humanitarian Parole ([link removed])

CAIR-Washington

Thousands of individuals seeking to flee Afghanistan need help from lawyers to file for special immigrant visas (SIV), family-sponsored visas, and/or Humanitarian Parole. Lawyers are needed immediately to help process requests, gather documentation, and file immigration applications on behalf of Afghan refugees. Traning is provided.

Though this organization is based in Washington State, this project is open to lawyers barred in any state. This is a remote project, so lawyers can volunteer from anywhere.

We hope you and your loved ones are healthy and safe.

The We The Action Team
