I get asked all the time, “What’s your favorite part of being a
Congresswoman?” and the answer is always the same -- “It’s meeting with voters
throughout our communities.” Whether it’s a Pride parade or a picnic, I make
time for our district because it’s my responsibility to be available and answer
questions. It’s not my style to hide in an office in Washington D.C.

But when I’m hard at work for you, I’m not fundraising -- and that means we
have to work twice as hard to get the resources we need to run and win this
campaign.
