The Line 3 Pipeline is a threat to the environment & local indigenous tribes.
Ilhan Omar, Pramila Jayapal, Bernie Sanders, and others are trying to stop it.
Add your name to join them in this fight!
John,
Trump approved the Line 3 oil pipeline when he was in office. A group of Congressional Democrats, including Ilhan Omar and Bernie Sanders, are urging the Biden administration to stop the pipeline.
Line 3 will destroy local indigenous lands and contribute to a fossil fuel industry bringing us to the brink of climate catastrophe. Oil companies and the political establishment don’t want us to talk about Line 3 — they’d rather keep this quiet.
We won't let this remain quiet. Add your name today to our call on the Biden administration to cancel the Line 3 pipeline. Any other action would be an endorsement of the destruction of indigenous lands and our planet.
The Biden administration could have taken action on Line 3 by now if it wanted to stop this dangerous oil pipeline. The Democratic Governor of Minnesota would have done the same if he wanted to. We must put pressure on them to act.
Line 3 protestors, also called Water Protectors, recently camped out overnight outside the Minnesota state capitol to demand an end to the oil pipeline. 70 of them were arrested for defending indigenous lands and the environment. Throughout the months-long protests of the pipeline, police have brutalized and arrested Water Protectors.
If Governor Waltz or President Biden take no action, the pipeline could be active as soon as this month and carry 750,000 barrels of oil from Canada to Wisconsin. It’s our responsibility to join this fight and stop this pipeline.
Add your name to our call on the Biden administration to stop Line 3.
In solidarity,
Justice Democrats
