They’re Baaaa-aacckkkk

We knew the Democrat Party would not give up so easily and they haven’t. Like the antagonist from a low-budget horror franchise, Democrat power grabs have risen from the dead and are coming after our elections again… just like we said they would. Back in June, we worked together to defeat the disastrous HR/S 1 bill pushed by Pelosi and The Squad. That bill was designed to weaken state election laws, thus opening the door for widespread fraud. Thankfully, we were able to thwart their attempted federal hijacking of our elections. But they weren’t done.

Late last month, the Democrat-led House of Representatives passed HR 4, which is just HR/S 1 in a different disguise. It has the same rotten core as the defeated legislation and attempts to achieve the same outcome: federal takeover of state elections. The Democrats’ biggest target? State voter ID laws. Thankfully, the vast majority of voters are on our side with this as research shows nearly 80% of voters support voter ID laws and over 60% support states administering their own elections. I wrote an op-ed that dives deeper into HR 4 and it is linked below. This just shows that as long as the Democrat Party has razor thin majorities in Congress, they will not give up on their power grabs. We defeated them the first time, and I am confident we can defeat them again.

Thanks
Kyle

Hupfer: HR 4 is Just Another Power Grab

Chairman Hupfer, who serves as RNC General Counsel and is fighting to defend election integrity across the country, penned the following op-ed for Real Clear Politics calling out continued Demcorat efforts to subvert our elections. HR 4 is nothing short of a Demcorat Power grab.

"Don’t fall for their partisan lies: H.R. 4 has the same rotten core as H.R. 1 and would make our elections far less secure. H.R. 4’s goal is to eviscerate the right of states to manage their own elections with appropriate transparency and ballot-security safeguards." --Chairman Kyle Hupfer
