Sally Beauty Holdings has named board member Denise Paulonis as CEO, starting Oct. 1. Paulonis, who has been chief financial officer at Sprouts Farmers Market, will be Sally Beauty's first female CEO and succeeds Chris Brickman, who will act as a consultant through March.
ScanSource has created a financial services app called Find Your Focus that its partners can use to handle invoicing and collections. The distributor is also offering ScanSource Services+, which helps partners adopt new services throughout the entire sales process.

Beverage distributors should consider using battery-electric trucks to make deliveries in urban areas because they are better suited for stop-and-go traffic and generate lower levels of emissions and noise, Jeff Cioletti writes.
