Folks,
Fun fact about me: my ancestors were in rural Ouachita County, Arkansas before 1819. And as a 7th generation Arkansan, I have a deep, spiritual connection with this state and our rural communities.

I was fortunate to have the opportunity to pursue my passions growing up here in Arkansas -- but I know that a myriad of disparities across the state, especially in rural communities , have prevented others from being able to do the same.

I’ve heard from folks in our rural communities who feel unheard because their needs are unmet.

I’ve heard from students that are unable to complete homework without access to the internet. I’ve seen rural hospitals that are on the brink of closing . I’ve talked with small business owners who are struggling to keep up with a technology-driven economy.

That’s why revitalizing our rural communities is crucial for the future of Arkansas. Investing in these communities means addressing the challenges they’re facing -- and making sure Arkansas is a place that works for everybody.

Our rural communities deserve access to the tools they need to thrive. The key to finding solutions to the challenges rural Arkansans are facing is to address them head-on, which means we need leadership that invests in:

folks

the

student
in
Arkansas

Increasing
opportunities
for
hard-working
families
and
equipping
small
businesses
with
the
tools
they
need
to
succeed.

Arkansas already has the talent and the potential -- all we need now is the leadership.
