I’m about to take the stage for tonight’s TVA debate. Before it gets started, I wanted to share a few thoughts with you.
The last year and a half has been tough – tougher than anyone could have expected. I’ve heard from families about the challenges they faced, and how the support we provided helped them get through the pandemic.
Canadians stepped up, and we faced it together. We weathered this storm better than almost any other country in the world. But we can’t stop now.
We have an important choice to make: to move Canada forward, or go backward. We’re ready with a real, positive plan to keep Canada moving forward.
That’s what I’ll be talking about tonight: good jobs now and for years to come, affordable homes for your future, more child care spaces for your children, a plan to fight climate change for the planet our kids and grandkids will inherit, and so much more.
I’m ready for what we can achieve together – with faith in each other, and with a belief in what this country can be.
To keep Canada moving forward for everyone, we need ambitious leadership and bold policies that leave no one behind.
We’re ready to deliver real solutions and keep building a better future, but I need you alongside me in this fight.
