This is unhinged, John.

Kevin McCarthy just threatened telecom companies that comply with the lawful request to preserve documents related to the January 6th investigation.

It's yet another attempt from the GOP leader to obstruct the investigation. It's starting to look more and more like McCarthy has something to hide.

John, I'm running to hold McCarthy accountable. Not just for his role on Jan. 6th -- but for turning his back on our community. It's going to take a ton of people standing with me to make sure we 1.) Hold him accountable and 2.) Deny him a shot at the Speaker's gavel, which is why I'm asking:

Will you chip in $3 to help me hold McCarthy accountable right now and then ultimately at the ballot box when we DEFEAT him next year? Anything you give helps me get the word out to more voters.

You might be thinking this, John, but it needs to be said: This threat is certainly wrong, but it also might be unethical or even illegal.

McCarthy insinuated that if Republicans get the House majority, these companies will have hell to pay.

We'll leave enforcement of laws to the House Ethics Committee and the Department of Justice -- but we can take matters into our own hands by holding McCarthy accountable at the ballot box, which is what we will do.
