Team,
Last week, the U.S. House passed the John Lewis Voting Rights Act.
This should be our top priority in the Senate -- and protecting the right to vote should be a non-partisan issue. But Senate Republicans are already threatening to stand in the way.
In GOP-led states across the country, the right to vote is under attack with unnecessary restrictions that limit voters’ ability to make their voices heard at the ballot box. This is unacceptable -- and a clear example of why we need to expand and restore voting rights.
The late John Lewis spent his entire career defending the right to vote. Now it’s time for us to pass this legislation in his honor and ensure every eligible voter is able to cast their ballot.
Add your name now and call on the Senate to pass the John Lewis Voting Rights Act.
Thank you,
Jacky Rosen
