Our lives have all been irreparably changed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Whether it be losing a job, a school year, or a loved one, we've all been affected. Those who have lost a friend or a family member face down grief every day, while survivors still may battle with health side effects.

We've already lost 600,000 Americans to this virus. And with the uptick of cases due to the Delta variant, that number is sure to rise.

As a country, we need to memorialize and honor the ones we've lost.

That's why Greg introduced the COVID-19 Victims & Survivors Memorial Day Resolution, which would make the first Monday in March a day to honor everyone impacted by the pandemic.
