Abortion is health care and health care is a human right. Period. That’s why we were furious to hear yesterday that the Supreme Court voted to greenlight Texas’ 6-week abortion ban and effectively overturn our rights under Roe v. Wade.
This is what far-right extremism looks like. Without exaggeration, we are witnessing the worst attacks on reproductive health since Roe v. Wade was first enacted in 1973.
We’re going to need all hands on deck to demand the protections and reproductive justice we deserve. But first, we need to help our friends in Texas.
As a result of this decision, abortions as early as 6 weeks are banned and there will be a minimum of a $10,000 bounty on anyone who helps someone obtain an abortion in Texas.
