John,

NIAC reached out to members of our community to share their stories on how the U.S. sanctions on Iran have impacted the lives of loved ones in Iran. Watch here for Kowsar Gowhari’s story of supporting Afghan refugees in Iran and then share their story on social using the hashtag #SanctionStories.

I want to take a moment to thank the many supporters who submitted heart-wrenching, eye-opening videos to our #SanctionsStory project. Your stories moved all of us at NIAC and helped us with our advocacy efforts. We were able to press administration officials directly about humanitarian efforts and removing crushing, inhumane U.S. sanctions on Iran.

After a packed August recess, we’re gearing up for an even busier next few months. And we need your help to ensure they hear the voices of our community, loud and clear.

Will you chip in now to support our efforts to bring NIAC Action's 2021 fall plan to key allies in the Biden administration? Any amount you contribute now goes directly to supporting our critical policy, organizing, and human rights work.
