Tomorrow, Friday, September 3rd, 2021 The Collective for Black Iranians, an organization dedicated to amplifying Black & Afro Iranian voices, will be presenting Hasteem: We are Here their first art exhibit.

Hasteem is an exhibition produced by the Collective for Black Iranians to raise awareness on the intersection of being Black, African, and/or of African descent and Iranian. The Collective is looking to explore the shared past that Iranians of all descent hold together, especially in a time where Black issues are in conversation the world over.

Hasteem: We are Here will run from September 3rd, 2021 to September 24th, 2021 at the 12 Gates Gallery in Philadelphia, PA. You can learn more about the show here and you can also learn more about the work The Collective for Black Iranian does here.
