We have good news and bad news.
The good news: 1,236 folks from across the country took a huge step last month in showing their support for our shared progressive values by making a donation towards our campaign.
The bad news: Even with the amazing support of so many grassroots donors, we still fell short of our August fundraising goal by $1,892.53.
Luckily, our team had a plan. We knew meeting our fundraising goal during the last month of the summer, when so many folks are out of town or away from their email, would be difficult – which is why we’re extending our deadline for our August goal to midnight tonight.
We need to start off September on the right foot if we’re going to get anywhere close to our quarterly goal before our next FEC deadline — and that means ending August as strong as possible.
Relying on grassroots donors like you is humbling and empowering. It’s what allows Ro to fight fearlessly for us in Congress, including taking on some of the most powerful Big Oil executives on the planet. But it also makes fundraising that much more difficult. That’s why each and every donation made means so much to our team.
