John,
Big Ag’s pollution has gone unchecked and unpunished for years. Because of their recklessness, algae blooms in Florida's waters are killing manatees' food source and they are starving to death.
But Food & Water Watch is fighting Big Ag to address the source of the problem and help protect manatees. Please consider making a gift to help stop Big Ag's pollution and protect manatees.

John,
Since January 1, 2021, nearly 900 manatees have died according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. The culprit: starvation due to wastewater runoff from Big Ag.
Increasing waste contamination in Florida’s waters triggers the growth of algae, and this growth is killing the manatees’ main source of food — seagrass.
We know you care about manatees, and so do we. That’s why Food & Water Watch is not giving up. We are fighting to hold Big Ag accountable for its pollution. But we can’t continue our work without YOU.
Your gift today will help keep up the fight against Big Ag to halt the pollution that is destroying our waters and wildlife.

Big Ag is one of the biggest polluters of our rivers, streams and oceans. But instead of enforcing the Clean Water Act to protect waterways and the animals that depend on them, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has given Big Ag a blank check to pollute. The dismantling of clean water protections has allowed Big Ag to dump more waste (including the factory farm manure that feeds the toxic blooms) in our waters. We must stop this continuing disaster.
If we want to protect manatees and their habitats, we need to take on Big Ag. And to do that, we need your help in our fight to restore environmental protections. Consider making a tax-deductible donation today!

Big Ag’s pollution has gone unchecked and unpunished for years. That’s why Food & Water Watch is fighting to change this. We are working every day to demand the EPA do its job to protect our waters, and we are prepared to take our fight from the streets to the courts.
Let’s put an end to Big Ag's recklessness. Its drive for profit is killing our rivers, streams and oceans, and their wildlife. With your support, we can put a stop to Big Ag’s pollution and help protect manatees. Donate now!
