We’re reaching out today with a quick update on Truth to Power’s fundraising from August.

Thanks to this team, we were able to reach our goal of 650 individual contributions for our work in building up progressive candidates who will center families and working folks in their leadership.

Here at Truth to Power, we talk a lot about the future—especially right now, when the 2022 primary elections are less than a year away. But like Rep. Katie Porter says, being involved in politics isn’t a seasonal trend; it’s not like a pumpkin spice latte. So trust us when we say that your support now is really important, too.

We told you this for months, John: Fundraising is hard in the summer. And now that it’s September, we’re lacking some of the critical resources we need to fully dig into the work to make sure we’re in the best possible position for 2022 and beyond.
