I want to thank you for your support over the last few months. Now that I have an opponent, it is even more important for us to have a powerful, grassroots movement. Defending our district and keeping the anti-science fringe out of Congress is never easy and I’m going to need you on our team all the way.

Now, I need to talk to you about the upcoming Republican recall.

I stand with Governor Newsom and will be voting NO on the recall. This is an expensive, obnoxious and unnecessary distraction from the many challenges we face and the sooner it’s defeated, the better. We should be focused on the devastating wildfires burning across the state and the continued fight to defeat COVID-19. We don’t have time for another partisan power grab.

We need every Californian to participate in this election and make their voice heard. Have you voted yet? [[link removed]]

If you have not received your ballot, or have any questions about how or where to vote, please visit the voting resources page on the Secretary of State’s website at: www.sos.ca.gov/elections/voting-resources/voting-california [[link removed]]

If you still need to register to vote, you can do so online until September 4 at: registertovote.ca.gov [[link removed]] . You can also conditionally register and vote in person at your polling place, vote center, or Registrar of Voters on or before September 14.

Ballots must be postmarked, placed in a dropbox, or delivered to a polling place by 8 pm on September 14.

Please make sure you vote NO on question 1, so we can get back to work on making our shared vision for the future of this country a reality.

Scott
