Oops...we did it again...
If you're having trouble viewing this email, you can see it online.

Hey, it's Julie!  I miss you guys!

Now that we are so, so busy launching new satellites all around the state, I feel like I don't get to have as much connection with y'all as individuals.  It's hard for me because our group has always been about personal relationships, but of course it is certainly worth it as we build the army.  By the end of the year we will have 15 locations!!!!

I did post something on Facebook today that I'd like y'all to read.  You don't have to have a Facebook account to click and read it.  It shares my heart on why we do what we do.  If you need a little motivation, please take a look.  (If the link doesn't work, just find me under Julie White McCarty and scroll to the story shared with the Nimitz quote).

May be an image of text that says 'Quote-Unquote "God grant me the courage not to give up what I think is right even though I think it is hopeless." -Chester W. Nimitz'

You should have noticed from yesterday's email from our scheduler Olivia that we have a jam-packed month of September!  Please pay attention and attend as many events as possible.  We have monthly meetings in every county (welcome Erath County!), Constitution Boot Camp in every county (part of our new "Certified True Texan" curriculum), softball & dining club (in the metroplex but hopefully coming soon to other counties), and of course our huge event Patriot Games (worth the drive for EVERYONE)!!!  Our online calendar is up to date on all these things.  Check it out!

But what I really wanted to email you about today is that WE ARE WINNING!  Over and over again, when the people show up, we win.

I'm talking about school board meetings.  Whereas once upon a time our people got involved because of their passion for national politics, we have now wised up and are actively engaging in local issues.  It's beautiful... and successful!  Way to go.

You can read all about these victories here.  Our President Fran Rhodes did a great job summarizing it all.  Need a teaser to get you to read it?  Check out this list of locations where our True Texans engaged and won:

  • Arlington ISD
  • Abilene ISD
  • HEB ISD
  • Northwest ISD
  • Southlake Carroll ISD
  • Fort Worth ISD
  • McKinney ISD
  • Grapevine-Colleyville ISD
  • Faith Christian School
  • Magnolia ISD
  • Keller ISD
  • Amarillo City Council
  • various Sanctuary Cities For The Unborn

And we're not done yet!  Our liaisons are working hard to alert the people and bring in a crowd.  However, if we don't have a liaison to YOUR city or school board, we are in the dark.  Consider volunteering!  In fact, we need a lot more other positions filled too.  We are looking for leadership team members in EVERY LOCATION.  We even just started a new position for each location:  social activities coordinator.  That's a fun one!  Wanna help?  Just reply to this email.

Before I close, I want to ask you to be on the lookout for 2 additional emails.  The first is regarding that True Texan certification I mentioned.

It's a long process to get certified, so get signed up for boot camp and then watch for more details.

The second is Patriot Games.

It's our big fall fundraiser, and it will be so FUN.  We need you to sign up, but folks are a little confused on how to do that, so I'll be sending out more info soon with a video to explain.

Guys, this is an exciting time to be with True Texas Project.  Our numbers are exploding.  Everyone is waking up to the need to get involved, and we can barely keep up!  Hopefully those of you who are more seasoned will welcome new folks with open arms.  No judgment on where anyone is at in their political knowledge.  We are all still learning.  What is most important is that we build that army.  So make new friends, and join us as often as you can so that those relationships are cemented.

I'm looking forward to revisiting all our new locations very soon!  Hope to see you there!

True Texas Project CEO (volunteer)

PS.  So many of you prayed for my family while we had Covid.  Thank you! It took about 3 weeks of being sick and another 2 to regain strength, so it was a doozy!  We are still getting a lot of questions on how we're doing, so I wanted to let you know we are now strong and healthy (in spite of those at GCISD that hoped we would die). We're back and ready to keep fighting!  Unfortunately many others in our True Texas family are still sick (or will eventually get sick) so please always remember your fellow soldiers in your prayers.  We need everyone!
