John xxxxxx, I wanted to take a quick moment to say thanks for helping my campaign close August strong. During the August district work period, the staff and I had a phenomenal time reconnecting with constituents across the 8th district.

I knocked on doors throughout the Coretta Scott King apartment building and shared hot meals while speaking with seniors. I took in a Cyclones game at Maimonides Park. I hosted "Congress on the Corner" events, distributed vaccines, and even checked out the occasional stoop party to help celebrate the 95th birthday of a local World War II hero.

The pandemic limits how often we can engage each other. But I still do my best to show up for the community to field people's feedback in person and respond accordingly in real-time. And whether you are in this district or not I want to hear from you about the issues that are important to you right now.

While I can't always speak with everyone everywhere, my team reports the feedback that supporters send us online. Surveys like these provide a quick and organized way for me to learn what matters most to you.
