Several U.S. Capitol Police officers are suing Donald Trump and the insurrectionists who incited and carried out the violent attack on our democracy last January. On that dark day, 140 Capitol Police officers were injured. Some did not survive, and following officers’ testimonies during the House’s January 6th hearing, it’s clear that many others are still suffering from physical and mental trauma endured that day. The January 6th attack wasn’t just an attack on a building -- it was an attack on our democracy and the Capitol Police officers who bravely risk their lives to defend it. POLL:
