John,
John,

We are in a crisis. Climate change is an existential threat that we must address.

Our campaign has made climate a key focus because we are running out of time. We are working with environmental leaders to close a local coal plant; we released a campaign video telling the story of climate change from a pecan farmer’s perspective (which has recorded over 100,000 views); and we held the first Texas town hall focused on the Green New Deal.

Check out our highlight video from our Green New Deal Town Hall! [[link removed]]

This work is so important. Our communities are threatened by the changing climate and we need more people in Washington to fight for our planet. The Green New Deal addresses both the environment and the need for good jobs at the same time.

Let’s use the power of our government to build a healthier future. Let’s invest in renewable energy, and put Americans to work in the process. Let’s make our buildings more energy efficient; let’s clean up polluted waterways and industrial areas; let’s create industries inside the United States that will meet the needs of the 21st century and beyond.

Join our movement for a green economy right here in Texas 10. I need your help to make it happen. [[link removed]]
