Detroit DSA is a
1200+ member funded organization. We receive no money from outside
sources so we can say things like "Defund the Police" and "Abolish
ICE" without losing funding, and we will always act democratically in
the interests of our members and the working class! If you're able to, we ask that you make
monthly contributions as they more directly benefit our chapter. Thank
you for whatever amount you're able to contribute!
Our records indicate that you are not
yet a member. If you're ready to join us in the fight
for the working class, go to dsausa.org/join and become a member today!
If you believe you're receiving this message

As the capitalist class has continued
to prioritize short-term profits over taking any real action on
Climate Change, New Orleans has once again been ravaged by a hurricane
and is in desperate need of help. For those interested, there's a
mutual
aid fund collecting donations to help our comrades who are
once again forced to rebuild.
Here in Detroit, we're of course
taking the upcoming Labor Day Weekend off, but afterwards we've got
got plenty going on in September - a party
to celebrate Bernie's 80th birthday, our General
Meeting on the 11th (followed by a Detroit
for All Canvass), Motor
City Pride on the 18th and 19th, and the return of
Socialist Night School with our Socialism
101 Series on September 21st!
With so much going on, there are tons
of great opportunities to meet with your comrades and together, we can
build the better world we know is possible!
Solidarity
forever,
Detroit DSA
