host committee in celebration and support of the innovative,
intergenerational, and intersectional work taking place at the forefront
of the racial justice movement.

"We are honored to be able to contribute to these grassroots
organizations doing incredible and necessary work to advance racial
justice during this critical, unprecedented moment in history," said
Glenn Harris, President of Race Forward and Publisher of Colorlines.
"Each organization is unequivocally committed to reimagining a future
where people of color thrive, and we are excited to support them in
their efforts to build a more just world for generations to come."

The contributions

are the result of the generous donations Race Forward received during
2020 due to an increased number of individuals and organizations
realizing the importance of working toward racial justice in the wake of
the murder of George Floyd.

" I draw inspiration from the most lovely piece of classical music –
Adagio in G Minor for Organ and Strings

, composed by Tomaso Albinoni. The aching beauty of the violin solos
with the earthy strength of the organ music helps me reach for the stars
while standing firmly on the ground."
