AYD Canvass for Wendy Gooditis & VA Dems
Wendy Gooditis and the VA Dems need your help out in Virginia HoD District 10. Join the AYD Canvassing Team as we go help our fellow Dems on Saturday, September 11th. We will hold a moment of silence before our departure in order to honor those lost on and due to the September 11th, 2001 attacks.
We’ll be meeting up at Clarendon’s Northside Social at 8:15am to carpool out by 8:30am in order to arrive in Winchester, VA for canvassing from 10am-1pm. We should arrive back in Arlington by approximately 3pm.
The canvass launch location address is Friendship Park, N Pleasant Valley Rd, Winchester, VA 22601. Please come dressed to walk around for what is likely going to be warm weather (think: athletic summer clothing, sneakers, sunglasses, baseball cap or visor), but keep an eye on the forecast. We recommend you wear sunscreen, bring water and snacks, and come with a fully charged phone as we will most likely be using an app to canvass. Each car will probably stop for lunch on the return trip.
For covid safety, this event will be launched outdoors and all volunteers must be vaccinated. Masks are required for volunteering.
Sign up to canvass below and let us know if you are able to drive others! Questions? Email AYD President Matt Royer at [email protected].
