RSVP for tonight’s 350Fairfax September General Meeting at 7:30 PM.
Our speaker will be Tamela Trussell. She is the Founder of Move Past Plastic and has been an environmental educator for the past 30 years. She is a trained climate reality leader, serves on several climate action committees, and is a master watershed steward.
She will be speaking about "Plastics, A Keystone Issue." Tamela will discuss how the plastic cycle impacts our water cycle, our health and our money.
There will be plenty of time for Q & A, and we look forward to a lively discussion.
Action Item : Now is the time to contact your supervisor and let him/her know that you fully support the single use plastic bag fee. The board will be meeting on Sept 14, to hear public testimony on this very important issue. You may provide testimony via phone, videotape, or in person on Sept 14th. Please register to provide testimony.

If you prefer, email and call your supervisor in support of an ordinance being written as soon as possible. We need all the environmental advocates we can get right now. Encourage family and friends to call their supervisor in support. We have precious little time left to act.
